An 8-year-old girl was raped by four boys, ages 9-14. Then, she was placed in foster care because the parents don’t want her anymore. They claim she hasbrought shame to the family by allowing herself to be raped! This happened in Phoenix, AZ, but all parties are from Liberia originally.

This family is clearly from an uncivilized tribe. Rape has never been tolerated in Liberia and in fact Liberia has one of the harshest rape laws on the books. As a Liberians I am disgusted to see these clearly dysfunctional family use tradition as an excuse. The parents and the sister should be thrown in jail. They are a stain on the Liberian society. They should be dealt with to the fullest extent of the law. Clearly these are country people

Brutal. That’s messed up. The little girl didn’t choose to be a victim, and the family is jacked for thinking she brought shame to the fam. You know what brings shame to your family? When your 8 year old gets raped and you act like its her fault. smh. Thoughts and prayers to that little girl

Yo I am never going to condone rap nor am i going to say that the little girl will be alright for the rest of her life. But that boy doesn’t deserved to be charged as an adult. He’s fourteen years old. There have to be something seriously wrong with him f he’s going around planning gang rape at fourteen years old.
this story saddens me more than anything in the world. that 14 year old boy should very well be charged as an adult. because i’m sure he thought of himself as an adult when he decided to go rape a child. alot of these kids today have no moral code, and i no longer know who to blame for their demise. And this family, she brought her family shame. wow, i’m sure inbetween coloring and playing with barbie, the 1st thing on her mind was “let me go smut myself out to 4 boys”. Yea.

Send all the rapists back to Liberia (should send the parents back too). Obviously they are not valuable contributors to our society. (Or just put them in front of a firing squad, I’ll bring my rifle)
When society though public re-education camps (public schools) tells teens sexual activity is a right and choosing to act is justification per se this is sadly not surprising
