In the mid-’70’s, Morgan Freeman played a character called “Easy Reader” on the iconic show “The Electric Company.” Check out his work and wish him well in his recovery after he was injured in a car accident.
From a third season black and white kinescope, Dwayne (Gregg Burge) is going around dressing and acting just like Easy Reader (Morgan Freeman). When old Easy finds out, they square off in a rhyming game and it sounds like an old school MC battle.

That is cool. My son and I just watched it and he enjoyed rhyming with ole Easy Reader. Way to go PBS!
