if yall dont know when the “a millie” song got leaked its orignal name is “im illie” but since the people who posted the song heard the instrumental and it sounds like “a millie” they named it a millie but the instumental is saying “im illie” not “a millie”.
so since everyone was calling it a millie the studio and wayne went with the name.they gets no checks sorry illseed.
I am A HUGE Tribe fan and I truly doubt they will sue over this shit, they will probably work something out more on the lines like Wayne will do a song with them….because Tribe’s whole career and sound was based on HEAVY sampling other peoples music…so it would make them look like hippocrates…and Im sure they havent paid for every sample they have used.
actually all those loops come from a norman cooke sample cd called skip to my loops i mean i love tribe but if he gets a good lawyer lil wayne he might ot have to pay anything since the sample are royalty free on the loop cd.

Co-sign. I can’t see the Tribe making a big deal out of that especially when a lot of their material is sample heavy. At the same time, you would think that Wayne would have shouted them out on the track…and it’s definitely a sample of their shit.
