ICE~ do ya’ thing my dude!! 47 reppin’ STILL!! That’s the way it’s SUPPOSED to be! Just his delivery alone will kill off most of these artificial rappers nowadays…keyword (rappers) not (emcees)…big difference.That’s the problem- there are hardly any real emcees around. I’m glad cat is out there roasting them non-believers and wannabe’s! Like ma-dukes used to say- ” Yo ass ain’t going outside until you do your homework!!” Learn the history of HIP-HOP before you start talking sideways about the heads who gave you a pot to piss in….

It only makes sense for rappers to get better wit time. The thing is that new styles are easier to market cuz the public likes new stuff. Also music industry markets rap primarily to highschool kids. On BET for example theres 106 and park with a bunch of 12years olds in the audience. No rap show with adults in the audience. Were all tryin to work and pay bills. Clothe and feed these young rappers.

YES! YES! TRUE SCHOOL REPRESENT!!!! I’m a 39 yr old emcee and what cats don’t realize is that anyone basically 32 and older came up in the era when lyrical skills REALLY meant something (Rakim, BDP, Kool G Rap, Ice T, etc…) today’s ‘rappers’ songs are basically a beat with a catchy hook but they don’t even have Vanilla Ice rap skills. Rappers should improve with time, not degress. I had a 26 yr old cat not too long ago tell me that reading a book was strictly for “Killing Time” and “Making Money” was the ONLY thing that matters today. Sad!
There is an audience for a good emcee no matter what age he is.
