No there’s no cover up. We all know Sean Bell threatened to kill some cops then got in his car and tried to run them down.

You blacks have some kind of sick personality disorder that makes you love being victims. Whether it’s victims of real problems or victims of imagined threats – this is some sort of fetish behavior or psychoses or something.

Anywho that’s your problem. And yes there will be more killings like Bell’s – because as long as blacks try to kill police and other innocents then those people will kill blacks.

As for Bell supporters, friends, and family – cry me a river.

True, we have to stop corrupt politics, yet they are a part of every institution known to man. Luckily, in our country we have the right to openly criticize the Sean Bell (rip) Incident. Think about if we lived in a more authoritarian culture — many come to mind — and of the countless similar experiences we would be likely to have seen in our lifetimes. This Incident is good because it creates discussion about police power and the extentions of the Fourth Amendment, and of our constitution itself.

Let’s talk about this, and about other issues, but let’s play peaceful. If there is to be a revolution because of Sean Bell, let it be a peaceful rebellion to counter the violence of the pertinent situation. Let’s be India…not Vietnam. Ghandi, not Mao.

im a college student, and i took a course called Constitutional Law, where we learned a lot about Fourth Amendment protections against unreasonable searches and seizures.

Basically, what I wanted to say is that there have been many cases like Sean Bell (rip), wherein police have used excessive force, or some other form of corrupt police power, only to be subsequently slapped on the wrist.

The reason for this is America’s need to protect Police Power, as well as the police themselves. Allowing police a “get-out-of-jail-free” card when it comes to instances like the Sean Bell case protects the greater system, which is created to allow law enforcement to F with people as much as they please.

Police regularly violate the Fourth Amendment, which protects us from unreasonable searches and seizures, and they are allowed to do so, because to prosecute them would be “rocking the boat”. It also involves police unions, which protect their own as we all know.

Something to think about…P keep ya head up.
