I knew the moment that the defendants elected to have a "bench" trial that they were going to get off. Growing up in Baltimore I/we know all to well about police brutality and corruption. Any body seen stop snitchin?? The only reason they took that brother down with such force and might was because in the first installment he exposed corrupt police that had terrized young men this city for YEARS!! In my opinion~no one really wants to deal in truth, they/we rather live in the PeRCEPTION of reality. We DO care, we DO hurt, we Do suffer, but we can't put all that out there because we would be perceived at weak, a snitch, a sellout which can have SEVERE reprocussions in our neighborhood. Until we move past caring what others think, we will be stuck in RUT, bound to repeat the same cycle until we learn the lesson. I mean really, we are already PERCEIVED at unintelligent, ignorant, and by law 3/5's of a person therefore we don't count anyway. Do you really think that THEY stop to consider what we think, feel or stand for??? HELL NO, OUR VOICES ARE SILENT EVEN WHEN WE ARE HURTING THE MOST... EVEN IN OUR DEMISE.
