While Wright may have been a supporter of the Clintons in the ’90s, a snap shot and an unpersonalized letter does not indicate a clear connection between the two parties.
that letter look fraudulent as hell…first of all a white house letter doesn’t even look like that—-they have letterheads that have a little more than just the “white house” and “washington” on it. another thing, there’s suppose to be a seal on ever single letter the president sends out. thridly, the president doesn’t even type out letters he’s got people for that. i hate to discredit ya cuz i really dig what u do, but that letter is 100% pure bullshit.
everybody is suddenly a genius saying “a white house letter doesn’t look like that” and that it looks “fraudulent”

Okay, I have a couple of letters from the WH from my time as a campaign operative. Looking at the scan the letter looks legit.
Politics,to a certain extent is about spin. Right now it is expedient for the Clintons to distance themselves from Rev Wright in-order to try and discredit Barack Obama who is obviously the Presidential hopeful. UK view even!

While the picture and letter alone may or may not be as damaging, the fact remains that every preacher in the world was not at that prayer breakfast. Reverend Wright probably only got his invite after someone at the white house did a serious background check etc… Tiny tears (which is what I call Hillary on my blog), was quick to try to say she would never have been a member of Reverend Wrights church, but shockingly Bill said nothing…probably because he knew he had invited the man to the white house with other “prominent” pastors in the 90’s. I’m sure his liberation theology was well known, but Bill was trying to stay as down as possible with black voters so of course he would invite Reverend Wright.
